At American Tire and Service Used Cars Rio Rancho, we carefully inspect every vehicle we sell. We offer a 15 day, 500 mile limited warranty for mechanical coverage on the covered components listed below. If a covered part breaks down, we will replace it with parts of like kind and quality. It is expressly stated that these replacement parts or components may or may not be new; they may be used or rebuilt.
We also offer optional extended warranty coverages that you may choose when you purchase a vehicle. If you have a concern that would fall under that extended warranty, call us for a diagnostic visit. Some warranty options have a $0 deductible at our shop. We’re here for all your service needs, just schedule online or call us.
What Our Warranty Covers:
- Engine- Cylinder block and all internal lubricated parts
- Cylinder Head and all internal lubricated parts
- Timing Chain/Belt and tensioners and pulleys
- Automatic Transmission – Case and all internal lubricated parts
- Manual Transmission – Case and all internal lubricated parts. Master Cylinder and slave cylinder. Clutch cable.
- Transfer case (AWD/4WD) – Case and all internal lubricated parts.
- Differential – Case and Internal lubricated parts. Axles, CV shafts, drive shafts and new u-joints
- Cooling System – Water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, fan, radiator, reservoir tank and sensors
- Engine Electrical – Alternator, starter, distributor, ignition coil
- Body Electrical – Windshield wiper motor, power window regulator, power door lock actuator, battery, manual operated switches (turn signal, head lamp, window and door lock) fuel pump, gauges
- Steering – Power steering pump. Lines, steering gear, rack and pinion
- Suspension – Ball joints, control arms, bushing, shocks, and struts, bearing
- Brakes – Master cylinder, wheel cylinders, brake calipers, break -pads, shoes. ABS sensors and control unit
- Air Conditioning – Compressor, expansion valve/orifice tube, condenser, evaporator. A/C controller, relays and fans.
Coverage is for the part or component plus related labor. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we are not responsible for the loss of use of the vehicle, loss of time, inconvenience, commercial loss, or other damages. Certain exclusions apply. Exclusions include damage caused by collision, abuse of the vehicle, fire, water, theft, vandalism, misuse or failure to maintain the vehicle, such as appropriate tire pressure and fluid levels. Any after-market accessories are also excluded.
